Amir Gharemen ~ Lawyer

p. s. "I was thinking about the question "what's law school like" and I realize that actually it was pretty hard. Tons of information which at first you try to master, takes a whole to figure out you really need to get to the heart of the concepts/cases and be able to apply them. I worked hard in 1st year law but grades were so-so. Did better later when I had a more "application" mindset. Also in 1st yr law I took tons of laptop notes. I NEVER did that again. I would listen more, take fewer notes (by hand only) and try to understand rather than scribe information

Also it's tempting to skip classes if behind on readings, but it's a terrible idea. Being at class even if unfamiliar with material is best, so that you THINK and take a smaller number of key notes which have meaning to you.

You're welcome! Students were cool."
